The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed regarding the high quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The company point designed for intervention encounters a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA sassa will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
